We will have time to DO things, this won't be a touch and go type of tour. You'll be on a quest to get the best possible memory in the best possible sites in the Rockies!
Small groups of 8-10 guests allow us to stay at boutique hotels, enjoy a more comfortable ride, get to more places, no line-ups to get in and out of the vehicle, you will actually get to know the people visiting this amazing part of the world, and you just might make a great friend along the way!
Get picked up at one the listed hotels in Calgary between 8-8:30am and get ready to start your Canadian Rockies mountain adventure!
Not a minute by minute itinerary, loosen up! This is meant to be a fun weekend getaway, so if the weather is great, the animals are out, and you bring your best vibes, the time spent at each place might vary, don't panic, you'll still visit all the places we list and more!
Our first stop will be in Kananaskis Provincial Park on our way to Canmore, the drive is out of this world and this is where we'll get you climatized.
Canmore is a beautiful town surrounded by mountains everywhere you look. We'll stretch here and stroll through downtown to checkout their amazing art galleries, shops, and hot drinks.
We will give you enough time to meet one or two locals, or another wondering soul in town.
Next we'll put your spikes/cleats on, once we arrive at Johnston Canyon! You're going on a short hike to a frozen waterfall in one of the most visited and best maintained trails in Banff.
You should be getting hungry by know, we'll need to get you to Banff Avenue, Downtown, in the heart of this magical area.
We'll share our favourite restaurants and the ones to avoid, we're kind of foodies, meaning that we're in the know.
Let's explore the area and get rid of our food coma!
Two Jack lake is a crowd pleaser for sure, we'll do a few incredible and funny things here for a great shot of nature.
We'll go next to Lake Minnewanka, to learn all about its history, legend and to play for a little bit, this might be your next social media profile photo!
It's getting dark so let's see the light show at the Banff Gondola. This will be an unforgettable ride to the top of Sulphur mountain!
As we rise to the top, the light show at the top and down below as the city lights up are just magical, by far one of the best things to do during this time of the year!
After spending a bit over an hour here, we'll head to the hotel for some well deserved rest until we meet again the following morning.
On this day we'll be travelling up to Bow Lake and Peyto Lake on the Icefields Parkway. Both amazing and breathtaking lakes, offering spectacular views of glaciers, and mountains everywhere you look!!
You'll have time to explore a bit of the area and snap majestic photos at this natural wonders.
Lake Louise is a crowd pleaser for many reasons, every season there is something to do for every taste.
You'll have enough time here to decide if you want to go on a short hike, maybe ride a horse sled to the end of the lake, go ice skating, or get some hot chocolate to warm up at the Chateau Lake Louise.
We can't wait to show this place off!
After a long day full of activities you will workout an appetite, so why not end the day in style with a delicious meal with a million dollar view!
You'll enjoy a three course meal at one of Banff's top restaurants, winner of many dinner choice awards, and best rated in the area.
And yes, this local and independent restaurant offers vegan and vegetarian plates, as well as gluten-free options.
There are tons of things to do downtown Banff and in the nearby area. You can stroll through the shops, enjoy a coffee, maybe visit a museum or two.
For the more adventurous guests, hiking is available, Tunnel Mountain is a popular short hike in town, a stroll through the Bow Falls viewing area is always well worth it.
Ask your guide and he'll be happy to share everything available on that day at the town of Banff.
We'll head back to Calgary at 2pm where will drop you off downtown or at the airport if you would prefer.
