Get to know the locals! 

PICK-UP TIME: 12-12:30pm

By that we mean everyone from your guide, to some wildlife and of course some of the friendliest people of the area, all while visiting majestic sites along the way!

After we meet you at your hotel, we'll head for the mountains! 

Our first stop will be at the charming and historic town of Cochrane where you'll get a chance to stretch and snap a photo or two in front of a heritage building.

From there, the moment we've all been waiting for: Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary!

You'll enjoy a guided introductory tour about the way of life of both wolfdogs and wolves that live in the wild, this tour will allow you to enter a viewing area without barriers and a great chance to take stunning photos of these amazing creatures.

The Sanctuary is devoted and committed to the well being of these incredible rescued animals, not only will you have a chance to be amazing by them, but you'll also be helping a great cause at the same time.

Let's mingle with the locals in the charming mountain Town of Canmore. 

We'll stop here to get a quick bite to eat (included), of course, we'll take you to a delicious spot.

This is one of our favourite towns in the Rockies, it offers the chance to visit incredible art galleries where local artist showcase their crafts, photos, painting and more!

As the sun starts to hide, we'll head to the Banff National Park on our way to the Banff Gondola!  

Explore the moonlit mountaintop during Nightrise, an immersive adventure that transforms the summit of Sulphur Mountain after dark. Sometimes we get lucky and even get to see the Northern Lights, fingers crossed!!

The Town of Banff is beautiful at night, as the lights shine in the snow, the odd deer or elk run through the streets and of course the shops are open late. 

You'll have the option to get dropped off at your hotel or downtown to hang out on Banff Avenue where you just might spot Big Foot somewhere!

Bundle up, the best is yet to come!

We'll start the day by visiting Lake Louise, these spectacular site is a crowd pleaser year round, but specially during the winter months. With a stunning view of Victoria Glacier behind the lake, the cabin on the shoreline, the frozen waters, the snow carpet covering the pine forest, and the trails offering spectacular rewards for those who dare to hike the area, this place will be carved in both your heart and memories for years to come.

Depending on the month that you visit you will also have the opportunity to participate on a couple of optional activities such as Ice skating on the lake, riding a horse sled to the end of the lake, or maybe take a hundred photos at the ice castle during the Christmas season.

After enjoying the area will head to the Lake Louise Village for lunch (included) for another quick bite to eat and warm up with a hot drink if you like.

Next we'll head to Johnston Canyon, but we might do a surprise stop on our way there; depending on the group's vibe!

Once at the canyon we'll get you geared up for a short beginner's hike leading up to a colourful waterfall. This trail although it does not have much elevation gain, it delivers a picturesque scenery to the creek that carved this canyon years ago.

The trail is also a great testament to Parks Canada and how well they maintain the area for everyone to enjoy it in a safely way. The bridges that hang on to the rocks provide incredible viewing points of the creek below, don't forget to charge your cameras!

Our next stop is a spectacular lake with a massive mountain on the background, this could be a post card, we're talking about Two Jack Lake. 

Every now and then we also spot wildlife in the area, so keep your eyes wide open!

Next we'll head to the longest lake in Banff, Lake Minnewanka or Lake of Spirits. We'll share the local legend and history with you as we ride along the lake road. Another crowd pleaser, year round, a must do stop when visiting.

Everyone loves to ice skate on this lake, from professional athletes to beginners and those who have never tried it before.

One thing is for sure, at the very least, this is a great place to make snow angels!

Last but not least, we'll stop in the Town of Banff again for that last bite to eat, or to pick-up that souvenir you weren't sure about the day before. 

We'll take you to another stop to say good bye to the Rockies before we head back to Calgary where we'll drop you off at your downtown or airport hotel.
